Maintenance

What is replaced at a scheduled service?

Parts replaced at minor and major services: oil, filters, spark plugs, brake fluid, coolant and the timing belt. A service checklist and what to watch at the workshop.

The word "service" can mean different things at different workshops. If you know what gets replaced, you can read the invoice, spot missing work and get the parts ready in advance.

At every service (usually once a year)

At set intervals

What is a service kit for?

Service kits bring together the oil and filters your car needs in one package. You do not have to search for each part and check that it fits. Select your car and look at the service kits page to see the kit that suits you. If you enter your mileage on the "My Vehicle" page, you can also keep track of how long is left until your next service.
